Can someone please give me some HEALTHY recipes for Baked Chicken with a side of Broccoli? Thanks!?

I need a simple recipe for preparing chicken without adding any fat, and steamed broccoli. Basically, baked boneless skinless chicken breast with a side of steamed broccoli which is seasoned? I am trying to eat low-fat, so please keep that in mind. :) Thank you!Can someone please give me some HEALTHY recipes for Baked Chicken with a side of Broccoli? Thanks!?
I would steam the broccoli, that way you don'thave to add calories there, but i would also marinate teh chicken in lowcal or light itallian dressing. If yo uuse krafts light done right it is pretty good tasting and low fat. If you are really worried about the calories I would not use the dressing and put just enough olive oil on the pan to keep the chiicken from sticking and bake. Can someone please give me some HEALTHY recipes for Baked Chicken with a side of Broccoli? Actually, most poultry is full of fat this day. These little birds are growth in cage and force become little obese eating machine plus those additive in its diet. Unlike the old time or organic raise, chicken roam around the farm with lotssss of exercise.

By comparison, chicken you buy from supermarket and organic raised, the fat is almost double.

Never mind you steam it, bake it or fry it. All the same in fat content. Unless you drain it dry and cook the chicken to extreme. Then the over cook meat taste awful. Simple way is not to worry, cook with olive oil and lots of exercise after that.
I would say yes. I have baked chicken with some chicken stock and just sprinkled on some seasonings like garlic powder, onion powder and lemon pepper seasoning. You can also add things to your steaming process for your broccoli. Rachel Ray just made some the other day on her show using orange peel. Just pop it in the pot with your veggies and they will have a great hint of orange flavor. Hope this helps some !!
take one teaspoon of barbeque sauce add a pinch of cumin, garlic, ginger, and some black pepper and juice of half lemon. stir set aside.

bake the chicken half way take it out brush it with sauce cover and losely tinfoil and use the same sauce on broccoli now add the borccoli to the pan bake together. take out enjoy.
SImplest way to bake a chicken. Foolproof method. Trust me, I used it to impress girls in college.

You will need a whole chicken. Defrost and take out the bag of entrails from the inside. Cut the rear end off.

Fill a brownie pan (yes the square ones) with coarse salt (sea salt or kosher salt) until it is about 1/4'; deep.

Stand the chicken on end in the pan. Drumsticks in the corners, butt against the side It should look as if it's sitting on a chair.

Bake for 2 hours at 350.

Skin will brown, fat will melt off the bird and collect in the salt, salt will not affect taste. This is easier and cheaper than getting a rotisserie and it has the same effect. Cleanup is a snap. All you do is dump all the salt into a bag with all the fat, and you just wash the pan and you are done.

For the broccoli:

Peel a few cloves of garlic.

Cut the broccoli into small little trees

IPut a medium pot on the stove, put water in it about 1/2'; deep.

Add salt and pepper to taste, garlic cloves.

Bring water to a boil.

Add broccoli.

Tightly cover the pot with a lid and let it cook for no more than five minutes. Drain and serve.

Done.

A side of white rice will go well with this.
Sprinkle Mrs. Dash on the chicken and bake in the oven.

cover chicken with salsa and bake.

sprinkle w/ salt, pepper, garlic powder and a bit of curry

marinade in a lemon garlic dressing
Juicy Lemon Chicken, very easy, and not fattening! (see my link) You need to eat something else too, though. If it's going to be rice, choose brown. I say choose a second veggie or some fruit.

You could also prepare some brown rice and then spoon it over some plain (or seasoned) chicken breasts before you bake them. It will come out SO juicy.

You could also pan fry the chicken at med-hi, 6 minutes on each side, flipping once. The texture is different but it's still very tender this way.
You can make baked chicken that tastes almost like Buffalo Wings by marinating chicken tenderloins in store bought buffalo marinade or making it yourself with tabasco, a tiny bit of oil, ketchup and water, then dipping each tenderloin in bread crumbs (lightly- shake off the excess) and baking at 450F on a foil lined pan which you have sprayed with cooking spray for about 10 minutes each side. If the bread crumbs seem too dry, spray lightly again with the cooking spray to make them brown up. This is a good way to fake the crunchiness of fried chicken without fat and a lot of calories. The marinade is mostly thrown out after you soak the chicken for 20 minutes or so- so not too many calories there either. But you get the spiciness of the real thing and it's nowhere near as messy either. You can slice this up and dip in low fat blue cheese dressing or sprinkle the slices over a salad. I made this for my husband who is super picky and he flipped out. He had no idea it was low-fat.
