What do you put in them? I want mine to be somewaht healthy but full of flavior. i looked at food network but i didnt find any i like. have any of your own recipes?Chicken Burger recipes?
Here's a really good and easy recipe, enjoy
CHICKEN BURGERS
2 c. chopped fine chicken or turkey
1 tsp. mixed, dry herbs
Pinch of garlic
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. low-fat cottage cheese, unsalted and drained
Lemon to taste, takes place of salt
Mix together chicken or turkey and onions, peppers, and lemon to taste. Add the mixed herbs, then cottage cheese and mix well. Shape into 4-5 flat patties. Grill or cook each side for 5-7 minutes or until heated thorough. Serves 4-5 persons.Chicken Burger recipes?
1/2 cup green onions
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg, beaten,seasoned
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
black pepper
white pepper
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 lb ground chicken (i make my own from chicken breast)
Preheat grill to medium-high; mix onion with garlic, egg, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined.
Crumble ground chicken into the bowl; incorporate well.
Divide into 4 parts.
Oil your palm and shape into 4 patties, about 10-cm wide.
Grill the patties.
Turn once; about 10 minutes.
Peking Chicken Burger
Ingredients
1/2 cup Green onions, optional
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1/4 cup Egg Beaters, beaten and seasoned with salt and pepper
3 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons Sesame oil
1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
1 lb Ground chicken
Preparation
1. Preheat grill to medium-high; mix onion with garlic, egg, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil in a large bowl until well combined.
2. Crumble ground chicken into the bowl and add breadcrumbs; incorporate well.
3. Divide into 4 parts.
4. Shape into 4 patties, about 10-cm wide.
